Well, it's Tuesday, my second day back where it all began - The Visitor newspaper on Rhyl's bustling High Street.
I find it hard to accept that it's eight years since I strolled up the stairs to the old office and began work as a 21-year-old part-time trainee, but it is and I'm glad to be here, this time on a temporary basis as news editor.
I have little to report as it's been a matter of putting this week's edition to bed and preparing for tomorrow's feedback, but I have missed Rhyl, it's my home town and a great patch for any news reporter.
Now let me see if I can guess what will happen when Wednesday comes around.
There will be an angry mob complaining their story was not in the paper when it was, but they haven't bothered to read it and just fancied an argument.
There might be three or four who want 60 copies each to pass around the area because the 'Cut' is still used as dumping ground for bundles of blue and white editions, and a gaggle of pensioners hellbent on shouting at us for no reason. I've also had a bet with Vale Advertiser chief reporter Matt Sims whether it will be 10am or 11am before a dejected mother rolls up at reception and glares at me for misspelling the name of her daughter's horse. We shall see what happens tomorrow. It will be interesting, I can guarantee that.
